If i could be an animal i would be .........

I could be an animal I would be a cat. Because cat is a friendly animal. I think cat's are human friend. Cat's skin is very soft and voice is also very lovely. They kill rats which is helpful for us because sometimes rats cut our clothes and many important papers. They always obedient to the honour. I like cat very much.

Bangla New year festival

On 14th April we celebrated our Bangla new year festival at Olympic park. It was arranged in Athletic Stadium. In Bangladesh we called this festival ''Boishakhi mela''. I went there with my husband by the car and reached there in the evening. In that festival, every women wear shari with red and white combination and every men wear panjabi. we met lots of our Bangladeshi friends. There were many stolls like-foods,clothes,toyes,cds and dvds, e.t.c. Many people were busy for looking and buying those things. And the seller were busy for selling. There was a big stage infront of this gallary.And lots of programmes was happening through out the day. Some people were singing like - pop songs, fock songs and local songs . Some people were duncing and there was also a fishion show in that stage. One of my friend performed in the stage for singing. It was really a beautiful stage show i have ever seen. We stayed there until the night. It was a funny day and i really enjoyed that festival very much.

Library of St George College

Every educational institution have a library. So the institution of TAFE also has a library. Only students and staff can use this library,but TAFE card is essestial for the joining or useing the library. They can borrow upto 6 print items at a time plus 4 audio visual items. Books and magazines are including the print items which canbe borrowed for 2 weeks. and 4 audio visual items for a week which are videos ,audio cassettes and music cds.

If anyone want to renew these items just make a phone call to the library.Items may be renewed twice on or before the due date. They can search the library catalogue from home by
using the internet.

The library members can't return books after hour because library fines are generated for overdue items.

The library is open at 9am-8pm from monday to tursday and on friday it open at 9am-6pm.
TAFEcard is necessary to make photocopies or print from one of the library computers,but at first you should be recharge it. AS a library member copying cost is $0.2 but as a student association member, you can get 20% discount for making photocopies or print from one of the library computers.you can borrow books from other TAFE libraries with your TAFE card.

My Last Weekend

My name is Rabeya. I live in Kogarah. Last Saturday i went Mardi Gras parade with my husband. It was held in Hydepark. In that day that place(Hydepark) was so crowded. Lots of people came to see the parade. The parade was started at 7.30pm . In this parade, many people were dancing and singing . Their dressed up like police, Angle, Player like footballer, god, Nurse, doctor e.t.c. Different age of people joined this parade. Many people also carried some banners like " EAST AND WEST LESBIAN IS THE BEST",''WE ARE ANGELS'' e.t.c. I think it was really very long and gorgeous parade I have ever seen. It's a memorable day in my life.

My motherland

My motherland is Bangladesh . The population in my country is sixteen crore . There are lot of rivers in my country . The natural beauty of my country is very beautiful . So every year lots of visitor come to Bangladesh to pass their holiday . People in my country are very friendly and gentle . I think they are also very helpful . So i love my country verymuch . I come from a place called Dhaka. It is a capital of Bangladesh .

My live in Australia

my name is farzana. I came in Australia six month ago with my husband. I live in kogarah. I donot do any work in Austrilia . I want to continue my study in this contry because i didnot complete my study in my country . I miss my country very much but in Australia people are very friendly and the natural beauty of this country is very beautiful .So i also like Australia .
